Spruce Creek Trails Association

The Spruce Creek Acres Trails Association was chartered in 2003 when the Spruce Creek Acres developers established a Not For Profit Trail Association. This trails association maintains the approximately 15 miles of trails within and around our community, including 4 which directly access the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. These trails are available to all for hiking and horseback riding. (Please, no motorized vehicles on trails, except for trail maintenance or an emergency)

The mission of the Spruce Creek Trails Association is to maintain the trails in such a condition as to protect the beauty of the land and the safety of the users. A good-neighbor policy shall allow the sharing and reciprocity of Spruce Creek trails with other organizations and members of the community. The Trails Association shall actively pursue harmonious relationships with the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, the County of Fentress and equestrian community neighbors.

All trail work is funded solely by the membership dues, fundraisers and donations.

We also sponsor amazing Pot Luck Dinners at the Pavilion. Other activities during the year may include yard sales, music events, fund raisers, and trail work days. All of our functions are open to everyone. If you have family or friends visiting, bring them too!

We are not a homeowners association. Membership in the Spruce Creek Trails Association is totally voluntary. However, many of our residents and neighboring property owners are members. We certainly hope you will join too.
